Foodbank’s 2020 Hunger Report says that COVID-19 has significantly impacted Australia’s international students, with 39% of Foodbank’s charities reporting an increase in the number of international students seeking food relief.

The supermarket is currently open three days a week and provides international students with free access to a fresh and culturally-diverse range of fruit, vegetables and pantry items, having already fed more than 1,000 students in just a few days’ operation.
