Overview
The Role
As the first point of contact for bookings and customer enquiries, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth communication between our customers and operations team. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will ensure accurate order processing and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Manage incoming calls and emails, handling enquiries and providing job updates.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring queries are addressed professionally.
- Communicate with customers regarding bookings, deliveries, and proof of delivery (POD) documentation.
- Resolve customer issues and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Make outbound calls related to bookings and service updates.
Administration:
- Process and book customer deliveries in Translogix with accuracy.
- Ensure consignment notes and manifests are correctly coded and priced.
- Maintain organised records, scan and index PODs, and manage data entry tasks.
- Assist the operations team with general administrative support and documentation.
Requirements
