Full Time, Kilsyth VIC, Billing and Cost Officer

Overview

Your new role

This Billing and Cost Officer will report to the Finance Manager and take an active and hands on role in working daily with the Finance, Operations and Sales teams. This permanent full-time role will interact with many teams and personnel both internal and external to the business. Some of the responsibilities of the role will initially include:

·         Reviewing supplier invoice costs and comparing to supplier rate cards,

·         Reviewing and reporting on supplier costs by job against customer invoices,

·         Assisting with customer invoicing and credits on an adhoc basis,

·         Following up outstanding consignment notes, why not completed,

·         Learning our many systems and assisting across many roles as required,

·         Occasionally processing some sales quoting and pricing tasks, and

·         ad hoc projects from time to time.

The candidate

It is envisaged that the suitable candidate will have gained experience previously from either a Billing and or administrative/accounts team role gained in a small to medium sized business. The suitable candidate will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, show attention to detail in getting the tasks of the job completed in a timely and accurate manner and also have the ability to build strong relationships with all people inside and outside of the business.
